Microsoft geht jetzt einen besonders harten Weg. Der Firmenname 'Microsoft' darf ab jetzt nicht mehr so ohne weiteres von Kunden benutzt werden. Allein schon wer das Wort verwendet, begeht nach Microsofts Vorstellungen Markenrechtsverletzung.

In Australien bekam das jetzt ein Mann zu spueren. Er hatte sich eine Domain registriert 'microsoft.org.nz' und wollte unter dieser Domain eine Website erstellen, auf der man eine Tipps und Tricks Plattform fuer Produkte aus dem Hause Microsoft findet.

Der Besitzer dieser Domain muss es unterlassen, diese zu benutzen. Ausserdem darf man das Wort 'Microsoft' nicht mehr einfach so verwenden, z.B. in einem Text, in dem es um Microsoft geht. Dies hat Microsoft angekuendigt. Wer es tut, bekommt Post.
