Der Egmont Manga & Anime Verlag hat seine Neuerscheinungen für August ausgeliefert. Neu starten in diesem Monat der 23-bändige Fantasy-Manga "Hôshin Engi" von Ryû Fujisaki (zweimonatig, Galerie aller japanischen Original-Cover), "Under the Glassmoon" von Koh Yasung, EMAs erster Manhwa (koreanischer Comic), und "Without Identity" von den deutschen Zeichnern "Utopian Artists", dessen zweiter Band im Mai 2004 erscheinen soll.
In der "Manga Power" gibt es diesmal zwei neue Manga: Der Kurz-Manga "Rabu Rabu Butabara" vom deutschen Zeichnerinnen-Team "DuO" gibt einen Vorgeschmack auf dessen Geschichte "Mon-Star-Attack" im "Manga Twister", und außerdem startet die Serie "Get Backers" von Yuya Aoki und Rando Ayamine (in Japan bisher 21 Bände). "Crayon Shin-chan" wird diesen Monat nach Band 8 wegen zu schlechter Verkaufszahlen eingestellt (in Japan sind seit 1992 bisher insgesamt 36 Bände erschienen). Carlsen hat mit der Auslieferung zum Monatsende zwei weitere Manga-Titel in die Länden gebracht. Das Artbook "Venus lllustrations" von Satoshi Urushihara (100 Seiten mit farbigen Illustrationen) kostet tatsächlich 16 anstatt der angekündigten 30 Euro.

Carlsen-Neuheiten für OktoberDer Carlsen Comics Verlag hat die unten aufgeführten Titel für den Monat Oktober ausgeliefert. Nicht mit dabei ist das "One Piece Color Walk" Artbook. "One Piece Red" soll mit den November Neuheiten erscheinen. Gleichfalls angekündigt aber noch nicht ausgeliefert wurde "Die Tochter von Basilis" von Chiho Saitô ("Utena").
Neu startet diesen Monat "She, The ultimate Weapon", eine 7-bändige Mangaserie, die unter dem Originaltitel "Saishû-Heiki Kanôjo" oder kurz "Saikano" vor allem durch den Anime bekannt ist. Bei "Du bist immer noch bei mir" handelt es sich um ein Bilderbuch der japanischen Zeichnerin Mariko Kikuta für 4- bis 7-jährige Kinder über einen Hund, dessen junge Herrin stirbt (Originalcover). In der "Banzai!" sind diesen Monat "One Piece"-Aufkleber der "One Piece Sticker Collection" enthalten und außerdem beginnt der Manga-Japanischkurs "Banzai! de Nihongo" (4 Seiten), gezeichnet von Jin Baron.
