Hi, I was thinking about creating a topic and see if you would like to learn a little Icelandic tounge, since I'm from Iceland and I live there I can teach you a few words and sentence, I speak Icelandic but I have to write english here for you to understand me. :)I'm just gonna' check how many want to learn and I'll teach you something, you can also come with words from english or sentence and I can translate them to Icelandic and teach you ;)Now who wants to learn a new language? ;)

Hi Stoverus!
Well, Icelandic is quite a strange language, but maybe someone is interested in learning it here.
Anyway, perhaps you also find some other topics worthwhile adding your comments to.

I have not enough time to learn another language, but I would like to see some sentences or words in Icelandic, maybe you could also tell us a bit about the grammatical structure of this language :)

I would also be very interested in seeing some sentences and explanations, because sadly I have not got enough time to learn it, too.
I would love to, if I had...

That sounds interesting. Since you proposed we come up with english sentences, i can't resist to ask how to say "Oh my god, there's an axe in my head!" in Icelandic. ;)

Diverse Seiten behaupten
Gud minn godur! Thad er o:xi i ho:fdinu a mer.
- ich zweifle aber am Doppelpunkt. Handelt es sich um ein Thorn (þ)? Das ergibt auch keinen richtigen Sinn.
